Introducing Gloria D.

Gloria was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a teenager her grandmother sent her to learn how to make Patterns and to Sew at a French Academy in Rio and by the age of 14 Gloria made her first tube dress.

Eventually Gloria became a swimwear model and began making bikinis for her friends which were a big hit on the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Gloria moved to Paris and attended Esmond School where she perfected her patternmaking techniques as well as learned French.

Later,Gloria moved to New York City and rounded her Fashion training at The Fashion Institute of Technology; while attending FIT she was invited to work as an Assistant For Christie Brinkley Swimwear. Afterward, Gloria created her own namesake swimwear line that was sold at prestigious stores like Barney's New York and Bergdorf Goodman. The line was also featured in top magazines like Glamour, Elle and Self. Moving to Miami Beach in the'90s prompted Gloria to create her own website and sell directly to her loyal clients. Introducing Bree:

Bree is a Miami Native who has been sewing since she was 9. She is a graduate of Miami International University of Art and Design. Bree is a talented, creative and efficient designer who has a passion for sewing. It all started out with hand sewing Barbie doll clothes from pieces of scrap fabric. So her father decided to purchase her very first sewing machine and teach her the basics of sewing.

Bree's curiosity grew, and she began practicing sewing for herself. She took sewing classes and experimented with different techniques and textiles. Bree taught herself how to draft patterns from measuring different body types of men and women. She found her unique design style, through this process. Bree states "I love the art of fashion the playfulness of it, the architecture of it and how I can express myself with a design."

Bree is a Seamstress who is available to assist exclusively through Atomic Assistants Agency.

Related Experience: Alterations freelance for her church congregants, friends, relatives and clients.
Hobbies:DIY crafting, sketching, cooking, and writing poetry.
